Terms and Condition (Updated 19 August 2024)

Introduction

1.   These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the $500 Top Up promotion (the Promotion) and run from 19 August 2024 to 9 September 2024 (the Promotion Period). By participating, you agree to thse terms.
2. The Promotion is being offered by AMP Services (NZ) Limited (AMP), with registered offices at 29 Customs Street West, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.   
3. In these Terms “you” or “your” refers to the reader or participant in the Promotion. 

What's the offer?

4. If an Eligible Person successfully invests their AMP Managed Funds account during the Promotion Period they will go in the draw to win a $500 NZD top up into their AMP Managed Funds account.   

Who is eligible for the Promotion?

5. To be eligible for the Promotion you must: 
i. successfully top up your AMP Managed Funds account during the Promotion Period; 
ii. be aged 18 or over at the time at which they top up their AMP Managed Funds account
iii. not be a member of staff of AMP Services (NZ) Limited or an immediate family member of staff. 

The Prize Draw

6. There will one Prize-Draw. The Prize-Draw will be made on the 16 September 2024 (Draw Date).
7. The winner of the Prize-Draw will be drawn at random from a pool of all Eligible Persons. The first Eligible Person whose name is drawn will be the Prize Winner.
8 The Prize Winner will be contacted by AMP using the email address and phone number the Prize Winner provided when entering this Prize-Draw.
9. The Prize will be paid into the Prize Winners AMP Managed Funds account within 21 business days of receipt of acknowledgment from the Prize Winner.
10.   If AMP are unable to contact the Prize Winner after a period of four weeks following the Draw Date, having made reasonable efforts to do so, that person’s entry will be declared invalid, and the Prize will be forfeited.

Other terms and conditions  

11.  AMP may in its absolute discretion and for any reason, accept, reject or postpone the processing of any application for membership of AMP Managed Funds. The AMP Managed Funds terms and conditions apply to applications for membership of the AMP Managed Funds.   
12. AMP reserves the right to extend, change or terminate this Promotion or change these Terms at any time and in its complete discretion. Any revision to these Terms will apply to all applications for membership of the AMP KiwiSaver Scheme submitted after the date the revised Terms were published.  13. If AMP determines in its sole discretion that you have failed to comply with these Terms in any way, AMP may take any action it considers appropriate, including excluding you from further participation in this Promotion or any future similar promotions AMP may run.  
14. In respect of any dispute regarding the Promotion or the payment of the prize to an Eligible Person, AMP’s decision is final.  
15. By taking part in the Promotion, you acknowledge that in making this Promotion available to you, AMP has not made any recommendations and has not given any opinions or financial advice as to the suitability of the AMP Managed Funds or any if its funds for you (unless you have asked for and received financial advice from one of our Financial Advisers). The information provided in relation to the Promotion is of a general nature and does not constitute financial or other professional advice. You should make your own assessment about whether becoming a member of AMP Managed Funds is suitable for you and seek professional financial advice if you are unsure. 16. While care has been taken to ensure that the information provided in relation to the Promotion is accurate, no entity or person gives any warranty of reliability or accuracy, or accepts any responsibility arising in any way including from any error or omission.
17. AMP, its agents and employees, and any companies related to AMP including AMP Wealth Management New Zealand Limited, are not liable to any person for any loss, damage or liability whatsoever arising from or in conjunction with this Promotion.
18. No claim may be made against AMP, its agents and employees, and any companies related to AMP including AMP Wealth Management New Zealand Limited, in connection with any extension, change or termination AMP may make to any of the Terms of this Promotion.
19. All personal information that you provide to AMP when you top up your AMP Managed Funds (in order to become an Eligible Person of this Promotion) will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the AMP Managed Funds.
20. This promotional offer is not in conjunction with any other gift-with-purchase offers or discounts.
