AMP Managed Funds - terms and conditions

By submitting this application, you (the applicant) agree to be bound by the AMP Managed Funds terms and conditions, which are set out on this page, as well as the AMP Managed Funds Trust Deed dated 3 March 2022 and the AMP Managed Funds Product Disclosure Statement.

  1. I confirm that I am aged 18 or over, I live (or normally live in) New Zealand, and I am either a New Zealand citizen or entitled to live in New Zealand. I confirm that I will inform AMP if any of these confirmations relating to my residency change.   

  2. I understand that the AMP Managed Funds is primarily a digital investment product and that this means that I can generally contribute, switch between funds, withdraw and otherwise manage my investment only electronically through MyAMP (dependent upon the availability of those functions in MyAMP from time to time).  I understand that I will be able to make contributions only by setting up a one-off or a regular direct debit and that this must be set up through MyAMP (but that I may also need to contact AMP directly from time to time, depending on the availability of various functions within MyAMP at that time).  

  3. I understand that none of the Supervisor, AMP, or any related company of the Supervisor or AMP (including AMP Services), their directors or any other person guarantees the performance of the AMP Managed Funds.

  4. I understand that by using MyAMP, I am bound by the MyAMP Terms and Conditions and, additionally, if I submit Information through the My AMP mobile app, the MyAMP Mobile App Terms and Conditions.  'MyAMP' means the AMP mobile app (free to download in the App Store and Google Play) or the MyAMP online portal (available at amp.co.nz).

  5. I agree that AMP (or other members of the AMP Group may collect, use, share and store my Information as set out in the AMP Privacy Policy. I acknowledge that I have rights of access to, and correction of, my Information under the Privacy Act 2020.

  6. I acknowledge that in using my Information for these purposes, it may be disclosed to other parties where permitted or required by law, including to the Supervisor, the Financial Markets Authority, the Inland Revenue Department, or to any other third party and that these parties may share and disclose my Information to each other and any other parties, in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (as amended or superseded). I acknowledge and agree that AMP may use and disclose my Information to keep me informed about financial products and services, other offerings that it considers are of interest to me and for insight research purposes. I consent to receiving electronic messages from AMP, from members of the AMP group or trusted partners via the contact methods you have shared with AMP including email and SMS.

  7. I acknowledge that I have rights of access to, and correction of, the Information held by AMP or the Supervisor, subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 2020 (as amended or superseded).  

  8. I acknowledge that my Information may also be used by AMP or third parties (on behalf of AMP) to offer me other products or services made available by the AMP group, and for market research purposes. I consent to receiving electronic messages and information about AMP Managed Funds and any other products, services or promotions offered by AMP (or related companies of AMP). I agree, pursuant to the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, that the person sending any such message need not include a functional unsubscribe facility in the message.  

  9. I consent to receiving statements and other communications and information about my investment in the AMP Managed Funds primarily through electronic means, including MyAMP and email, and also via post where AMP considers it is appropriate or cannot otherwise contact me through electronic means.

Glossary


'AMP'
means AMP Wealth Management New Zealand Limited, which is the manager of the AMP Managed Funds. 

'AMP Services' means AMP Services (NZ) Limited, which is a related company of AMP. 

'Information' means the personal information you supply and includes any other information provided (whether provided by yourself or any other party). 

'MyAMP' means the AMP mobile app (free to download in the App Store and Google Play) or the MyAMP online portal (available at online.amp.co.nz).

'Supervisor' means Public Trust, which is the Supervisor of the AMP Managed Funds.
