Game Of Life promotion

Introduction 

1. These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the $2,500 Game of Life promotion (The Promotion) and run from 15 October 2024 to 13 December 2024 (The Promotion Period). By entering this Prize-Draw, entrants acknowledge the AMP Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by the Terms, including eligibility criteria and information on how to enter this Prize-Draw, and agree that AMP may use the personal information AMP holds about them to contact them if they are a Prize Winner. 

2. The Promotion is being offered by AMP Services (NZ) Limited (AMP), with registered offices at 29 Customs Street West, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.    

3. In the Terms “you” or “your” refers to the reader or participant in the Promotion.   

What's the offer? 

4. If an Eligible Person books and attends an appointment with an AMP adviser during the Promotional Period, they will go into the draw to win 2,500NZD cash. Each Eligible Person will have one single entry into the prize draw. 

Who is eligible? 

5. The Promotion is only open to Eligible Persons. A person is an Eligible Person if you: 

a) are an employee of  

- Te Wānanga o Aotearoa; or 

- New Zealand Safety Blackwoods; or 

- Air New Zealand Limited; or  

- Auckland International Airport Limited; or

- 1* An immediate family member of a person who is employed by any of the above entities. 

b) book an appointment to meet with an AMP adviser using the booking link provided, by emailing wpa@amp.co.nz, or through an AMP Adviser directly; and 

c) meet with an AMP adviser between 9:00am 15 October 2024 and 5:30pm on 13 December 2024; and 

d) be a New Zealand Resident; and 

e) be 18 years or older. 

6. Staff (including contractors) of AMP Services (NZ) Limited (“AMP”) and their immediate families, are not Eligible Persons and so they are not eligible to win this Prize-Draw. 

The Prize-Draw 

7. There will be one Prize-Draw. The Prize Draw will be made on the 16 December 2024 (Draw Date). 

8. The winner of the Prize-Draw will be drawn at random from a pool of all Eligible Persons by AMP. The first Eligible Person whose name is drawn will be the Prize Winner. 

9. The Prize Winner will receive a single one-off cash prize of 2,500NZD 

10. The Prize Winners will be contacted by Insiders Limited or AMP using the email address and phone number the Prize Winner provided when entering this Prize-Draw. 

11. The Prize will be paid by direct credit into a New Zealand bank account within 21 working days of receipt of requisite account/contact details from the Prize Winner. 

12. If Insiders Limited or AMP are unable to contact the Prize Winner after a period of four weeks following the Draw Date, having made reasonable efforts to do so, that person’s entry will be declared invalid, and the Prize will be forfeited. 

13. The Prize Winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional and marketing activities as and when requested by AMP for no additional compensation.  All material produced for such purposes shall remain the property of AMP. 

14. The Prize is not exchangeable or negotiable, nor is it transferable to any other person. Insiders Limited is solely responsible for paying the Cash Prize to the Prize Winner’s New Zealand bank account, on AMP’s behalf. 

15. If AMP determines in its sole discretion that you have failed to comply with the Terms in any way, AMP may take any action if it considers appropriate. This includes:   

a) excluding you from further participation in this Prize-Draw; and/or 

b) excluding any future similar promotions AMP may run.  

16. AMP reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or otherwise dishonest manner, and to disqualify any entry in the Prize-Draw in its sole discretion without giving reasons.   

17. AMP reserves the right to assess the validity of a Prize Winner’s participation in the Prize Draw, and to refuse or withdraw any Prize without any compensation. 

18. In respect of any dispute regarding the Prize-Draw or the provision of the Prize to a Prize Winner, AMP’s decision is final whosoever. 

19. Insiders Limited and AMP do not accept any responsibility for any tax liability incurred as a result of an entrant winning this cash Prize. Entrants should obtain independent tax and financial advice. 

20. By taking part in the Prize-Draw, you acknowledge that in making this Prize-Draw available to you, AMP has not made any recommendations and has not given any opinions or financial advice as to the suitability of the AMP KiwiSaver Scheme, New Zealand Retirement Trust or any of their funds for you, unless you have asked for and received financial advice from one of our AMP advisers. Before taking any action, you should always seek financial advice or other professional advice relevant to your personal circumstances. For financial advice, we recommend you contact your Adviser. 

21. While care has been taken to ensure that the information provided in relation to the Prize-Draw is accurate, no entity or person gives any warranty of reliability or accuracy or accepts any responsibility arising in any way including from any error or omission. 

22. AMP, its agents, employees and contractors, and any related company (as defined in the Companies Act 1993) of AMP including AMP Wealth Management New Zealand Limited, are not liable to any person for any loss, damage or liability whatsoever arising from or in conjunction with this Prize-Draw and /or any announcements made in connection with the Prize-Draw. 

23. AMP may change the Terms of, terminate or extend this Prize-Draw at any time without notice to entrants. No claim may be made against AMP or its agents, employees or contractors, or any related company (as defined in the Companies Act 1993) of AMP including AMP Wealth Management New Zealand Limited, in connection with such extension, change or termination. 

24. The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts. 

25. The Prize-Draw is run by AMP Services (NZ) Limited with its registered office at 29 Customs Street West, Auckland, CBD, Auckland 1010.
